Reading

I loved The Power Broker. I listened to it on Audible (fuck Amazon). It’s a long book, and it took me a couple months to get through, but I listened every chance I got. It’s intense and action packed, despite mostly detailing desk job exploits. I finished it right before my flight to New York in November took off after rushing to finish it, because I didn’t want to spoil the ending (which being on the ground in New York would have done). Very good book, if you like New York or are interested in why cities look the way they do, or just want a fun, action-like non-fiction book about politics and people and whatnot, read it.
